The Boys & Girls Club has been helping Santa Cruz City Schools by providing lunchtime activities supervision to help out schools that have been mired in staff budget cuts. It’s been a success story so far as we are directing these kids to our safe and positive haven after-school. The Boys & Girls Club of Santa Cruz now offers an after-school program for teens at Shoreline Middle School with the Live Oak School District and Santa Cruz County Parks and Recreation. Call 475-6565 ext. 130 for more details. The Club has been collaborating with the Watsonville Police Athletic League to hopefully open a youth facility in Watsonville.
